Xavian is making an action role playing game called Lichdom, while Troxit Services is working on a massively multiplayer online role playing title called Forged by Chaos. Two other German developers are using the engine to create their titles. While the game uses the same name, it adopts a futuristic, Victorian art style.

This version was released on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam. IllFonic is another one of the few independent game studios that have hurried to adopt Crytek latest technological outing. NEXUIZ ILLFONIC PC
IllFonic was formed by some of the developers that are currently supporting the PC version of Nexuiz, alongside other Quake I community programmers. New game modes, character models and maps will constantly arrive as downloadable content for both consoles.

The story will revolve around a conflict between two factions called Kavussari and Forsellians who hold gladiatorial arena tournaments to maintain the uneasy peace between their people. The console version that is coming from IllFonic will have the same fast-paced style of gameplay. The version of the Quake I development tools the developers are using is called Darkplaces and it feature quite a lot of modifications to the old code, as the title looks really good even today. In 2010, IllFonic acquired the rights to Nexuiz and distributed it to THQ. The game is basically a very polished clone of Quake III: Arena with quite a lot of maps, mutators like in Unreal Tournament and different weapons. Original Nexuiz designer Forest LordHavoc Hale worked with Illfonic on the new version, many of the GPL contributors forked the projected into a new game. IllFonic LLC is an American independent video game developer founded in 2007. This is a very enhanced port of Nexuiz, a freeware online first person shooter built using the Quake I engine for Windows, Mac and Linux-based platforms by a team called Alientrap. This is one of the few studios to adopt Crytek's latest development kit since it's release in October 2009. The original game was released on May 31, 2005. A remake, also called Nexuiz, has been released for Steam and Xbox 360 using CryEngine 3.
NEXUIZ ILLFONIC LICENSE
The game was released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) and uses the DarkPlaces engine, a modified Quake engine. IllFonic, an independent developer, has announced that it is producing Nexuiz for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Nexuiz is a free first-person shooter video game developed and published by Alientrap. Crysis 2 is not the only first person shooter to be developed using the CryEngine 3.0 tools. For those of you who have not heard of Nexuiz, it is a free open-source first person shooter developed by the folks over at IllFonic that was released in 2005 for Windows.
